It then leads to a distorted perception of sexuality and an increased risk of sexual exploitation.
Media
The media, in particular, plays a significant role in shaping public perception and values regarding sexuality. The media can normalize sexual behaviors inappropriate for children by portraying young girls in sexually suggestive clothing or provocative poses. This portrayal sends the message that it is acceptable for children to engage in sexual behavior. This, in turn, makes them more susceptible to grooming and exploitation.
Entertainment Industry
